Comments: I was less familiar with the
band than the theatre, and our season at home got a late start,
so “Welcome Back to the Capitol” became the theme
for this program.
The button at left was printed for the
Capitol’s 10th anniversary later in this same year. Note
that the marquee in the Peter Tosh program and the button
represent the original 1928 version of the marquee. If you look
at the 10th
anniversary program or the 13th anniversary
program, you will see an
entirely different marquee as updated during the
