Comments: Backstage pass courtesy of
Karl Kuenning aka Special K, who mixed monitors for this
Patti Smith Show and did the house mix for Carole King while on
the road with Brighton Sound. As far as the cover illustration
goes, I may have been thinking of Brenig’s pink house on
5th Street, a short stroll from CBGB when I drew this one. The
rent in that part of town has gone up a little since then.
