Comments: The Capitol used to have a
tiny ticket office something like this, but even the theatre
itself is now gone. 326 Monroe Street had one of the best
acoustical environments of any theatre that I ever worked: It
was a big, asymmetrically shaped room with 2-inches of painted
padding on the interior walls that dated back to 1928.
